Great News!

LILITH magazine has been honored, for the third year in a row, with several awards from the American Jewish Press Association. These Simon Rockower prizes honored individual articles and two special sections in LILITH, one on weddings (“Isn’t It Ironic? White Weddings in a Feminist Era!” Spring 2000) and one on women’s extraordinary friendships (“Friendships Without Borders,” Summer 2000). Ann Moliver Rubin’s memoir “Let My Husband Die” and Sheva Zucker’s critique of poet Kadya Molodowsky, “The Queen of Yiddish,” received awards for excellence, as did our cover illustration of “Dr. Laura” by Tom Cocotos. Mazal tov to all!
