Children have been learning to read from Wenkart’s books for 25 years, while she raised her family and earned her Ph.D. in Cambridge. Now back in New York, she is translating the memoirs of Pauline Wengeroff, writing a memoir and poetry of her own, and teaching writing and philosophy.
